The initial consultation is a free one-time site visit with the client to evaluate the space and identify the client’s ideas and goals for the garden. Following that, we can develop a plan, make ongoing improvements or choose plants and other elements to enhance your outdoor space. We identify the plants in your garden, diagnose diseases, pests or problems. We can also suggest design ideas to improve the garden, making it less labour intensive and more user friendly.

- Garden Restoration Overgrown and overwhelmed? We uncover treasures and rejuvenate your garden, restoring and enhancing its natural beauty and function.
- Pruning & Tree Work Our team is well trained in pruning, specializing in tree and shrub corrective pruning, focusing on plant health.
- Garden Maintenance Biweekly, monthly, twice a year or at your request, we weed, fertilize, prune, edge, line trim, fall leaf removal and more.
- Organic and local Emphasis Our plant material is locally sourced and grown. We choose suitable plants for your specific micro-climate and garden.
- Garden Design and Installation We work with the client to create a design and plans for installation. An informal drawing will be made available upon request. If a formal garden design is desired, we work with a Landscape Designer who can produce a detailed scale drawing.

About
Garden Genie
- TGG Garden Genie Inc., dba Garden Genie, was founded in 1995 by Jean Schwartz
- Jean completed her B.Sc.(Agr.), majoring in Ornamental Horticulture, in 1990 from UBC
- She is a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) and a member of the B.C. Landscape Nursery Association (BCLNA)
- Managed Southlands Nursery and taught gardening classes in the Lower Mainland
- Head gardener of an 18 acre estate in Richmond for several years
- Currently, Garden Genie employs up to six trained landscape gardeners
- Clients include residential, strata, commercial and industrial
- Works closely with subtrades, such as stone masons, Certified Arborists, carpenters, concrete experts and irrigation installers, resulting in a professionally completed job
